Bank Alfalah Delivers Enhanced Customer Experiences in the Digital Age with F5 Solution

Bank Alfalah, the fifth largest private bank in Pakistan with over 600 branches, needed consistent uptime and greater scalability as it moved from legacy 9–5 branch systems to always-on digital services. Their existing Cisco ACE and Citrix NetScaler load balancers were reaching end of life or could not handle surging application traffic, and disparate monitoring left network and application performance unclear. The bank turned to F5 Networks and its BIG-IP LTM to consolidate load balancing and support its digital transformation.

Working with partner Innovative Integration, F5 Networks deployed BIG-IP LTM across five key applications, delivering higher availability, improved scalability and much greater visibility into network and application traffic. The solution simplified deployments and troubleshooting (Microsoft Exchange was deployed in 20 minutes), enabled granular traffic control with F5 iRules and iApps, and resulted in smoother application delivery, faster issue resolution and the capacity to handle increased transaction volumes.
