A EZO Case Study
Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub, a Douglas County, Oregon-based educational equipment lending library serving hundreds of educators across the state, needed a better way to manage a large and diverse inventory of STEAM equipment, track lender and return information, and keep orders organized across a wide geographic area. The organization uses EZO’s EZRentOut equipment rental software to run its lending library and webstore.
With EZO’s EZRentOut, Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub automated rental workflows, managed 300+ annual orders, sent overdue reminders, and used reporting and color-coded tracking to monitor inventory across the county. As a result, the Hub increased turnaround by 25% and saved about 30 hours per week, while also improving visibility into equipment availability and returns.
