A EZO Case Study
Lesley University, a liberal arts university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, struggled to manage classroom furniture, dorm room keys, and asset records across multiple campuses. With manual tracking, no central repository, and missing ownership information, the facilities team had difficulty knowing what was available, who had checked items out, and where assets were located. Lesley University turned to EZO’s asset management solution to bring structure and visibility to these operations.
With EZO, Lesley University created unique IDs for keys and assets, centralized check-in/check-out workflows, mapped assets across nested campus locations, and used SSO and reporting tools to simplify daily work. The result was better inventory visibility, improved location management, and more accurate record-keeping; Sandra Walker said the process now takes “at least 50%” less time than paper-based tracking, and a pilot of 57 keys identified 2 that were not returned.
