Power Grid Engineering (PGE), a Qualus Power Services subsidiary with offices across five states, was managing an equipment-heavy field operation of more than 1,700 machines and struggled to track assets using Excel. Without a checkout trail or centralized system, items routinely went missing, workflows were disrupted, and there was little employee accountability. To address this, PGE adopted EZO’s asset management solution, EZOfficeInventory.
EZO implemented EZOfficeInventory across PGE (onboarding began July 2020, full transition in September 2021), adding QR labeling and mobile scans, regional custom roles/teams, HR API integration, item bundles/packages, and custom fields. The result: a traceable checkout trail, automated onboarding for hires (every two weeks), faster checkouts, fewer lost items, improved equipment utilization and streamlined access control — all while centrally tracking 1,700+ assets and reducing manual data-entry errors. EZO’s responsive support also helped tailor features to PGE’s workflows.
