The University of Western Australia needed to automate the annual capture of 250,000 student records into its Micro Focus Content Manager system. A strong reluctance to commit to digital processes existed due to the burden of manual records capture, so the university required an automated solution for records capture and digitization. They turned to the vendor EzeScan to address this challenge.

EzeScan provided an automated records capture solution that integrated directly with Content Manager. The implementation resulted in a significant reduction in manual work, with roughly 170,000 student records (70% of the total) now being captured automatically each year. The solution also proved cost-effective and flexible, allowing the university to expand automated capture to numerous new processes over time, including applications and HR documents, which greatly improved efficiency.
