This eliminated the need for physical paperwork to be routed for approval, significantly improving tracking and payment times. The council reported that 25% of invoices were already being received by email shortly after implementation. Furthermore, EzeScan's flexibility allowed the council to begin automating other form-based processes, like parking permits, at no additional software cost, reducing double-handling of data and supporting environmental goals.
