City of Darebin processes 4,000–4,500 emails a month with EzeScan

The City of Darebin, a government council, faced a challenge in processing the 4,000 to 4,500 emails it received monthly. Its previous solution required team members to process emails one at a time, which was an extremely laborious task. The council turned to EzeScan for a more efficient records capture solution.

EzeScan implemented its Profiler solution to allow the council's emails and attachments to be batch processed into their Objective ECM system. This deployment substantially reduced the time taken to capture and profile information, enabling records staff to focus on other essential tasks. According to a coordinator, EzeScan now allows them to process large volumes of emails in a fraction of the time.
