HafenCity Hamburg GmbH, the developer of a large urban regeneration project, needed an interactive digital solution for its exhibition spaces and trade shows. The challenge was to create a system that could be used across different locations, accessing the same core content but allowing for individual management and control, all supported by a flexible, cloud-based data exchange. They enlisted the touchscreen software specialist eyefactive to provide the necessary hardware and software platform.

eyefactive implemented a multi-faceted solution featuring a 65" multitouch table for its main exhibition, a 43" wall-mounted TouchScreen, and an 80" portable multitouch table for events. The software was built using customizable apps from the eyefactive AppStore, including ClickThrough, PucksView, and MatrixView, combined with custom-developed software for cloud connectivity and content management. This allowed HafenCity to easily update information remotely. The result was a highly impressive and functional digital exhibition that successfully merged historical presentation with future-focused technology, earning significant praise from the customer's management and press team for its phenomenal execution.
