Together, a provider of movement classes for seniors with dementia and their caregivers, faced the challenge of scaling their effective in-person program to reach a wider population without the burden of requiring participants to leave their homes. They partnered with the vendor Exygy to create a more accessible and time-efficient solution.

Exygy designed and developed a telehealth application that allows participants to join classes from home via their television. Through a rapid, human-centered design process, they created a tailored prototype that was tested and iterated upon weekly. The solution achieved a 100% participant satisfaction rate and a 70% program completion rate, proving the program could be effectively delivered remotely. Exygy's work provided a critical social connection for participants, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
