Metropolitan Transportation Commission launches Vital Signs in 2023 with Exygy

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) needed to rebuild its Vital Signs website to make its extensive Bay Area data more accessible and engaging for the public. They partnered with Exygy to re-platform the site, aiming to improve its usability and make it easier for their own team to maintain and update the data consistently.

Exygy redesigned the website's front end for a better user experience and re-platformed the back end with a new CMS to ensure easy, long-term maintenance. The solution provided more intuitive data visualizations and map-based representations. The successfully launched site now makes critical environmental and civic data, including COVID-19 impact datasets, readily available to Bay Area residents, setting MTC up for the project's continual development.
