Historypin redesigns with Exygy after a 3-part improvement focus

The customer, Historypin, needed a full-scale redesign of their platform to address a backlog of improvements. Their challenges included improving usability and accessibility for diverse audiences, enhancing storytelling capabilities, and ensuring site and data security. The vendor, Exygy, was engaged to apply its Thoughtful Design methodology to this project.

Exygy began its solution by conducting in-person workshops with Historypin's users, which built trust and provided deep insights into user needs. This research was complemented by a UX audit and technical discovery, culminating in a research report. Using these findings, Exygy moved into a design and ideation phase, creating wireframes for a new, more accessible and inclusive site. The ongoing engagement is focused on refining features to ensure Historypin evolves as a trusted platform for community-driven storytelling.
