The Midwives Association of British Columbia (MABC), the province’s professional midwifery association, needed a modern website and membership-management system to serve a fast-growing profession, make it easy for the public to find midwives, and reduce administrative burden. Exware Solutions Inc implemented custom ExSite AMS modules including searchable midwife listings, an automated registration-status and payment engine with tokenized credit cards and automated refunds, online course (MESP) booking and certificate downloads, and an enhanced Rural Locum job-placement system. The new platform enabled members to update listings and schedule payments directly, streamlined administration, delivered real‑time locum and course tools, and reduced manual processing—improving efficiency and public access to midwifery services; development and refinements continue.
