AmericInn Hotel in Winona, Minnesota (70 rooms) faced rising guest demand for reliable, high-bandwidth Wi‑Fi while operating without onsite IT staff and needing a cost‑effective, secure solution that could overcome construction challenges. To address this, AmericInn engaged Extreme Networks (with partner Thinix) to deliver enterprise-grade wireless using ExtremeWireless products — specifically 7502 and 7522 access points and the WiNG VX 9000 controller.

Extreme Networks deployed 35 7502 APs (one AP per two rooms) and 2 7522 APs, centrally managed by the WiNG VX 9000 and monitored/updated by Thinix, completing the rollout in three months.
