San Diego Community College District Delivers Digital Equity with Extreme

San Diego Community College District (SDCCD), one of California’s largest community college systems with 14 locations, needed to deliver a consistent digital experience for more than 80,000 students and faculty across a dispersed campus network. The district also needed stronger connectivity for thousands of devices and applications, better visibility for troubleshooting, and a scalable platform to support future growth. Extreme Networks provided the network foundation for this effort.

Extreme Networks implemented Extreme Fabric, ExtremeCloud IQ, ExtremeSwitching, and ExtremeWireless to create a resilient, centrally managed network environment. The solution improved digital equity across campus, boosted connectivity and reliability for critical applications and services, and gave SDCCD better visibility into network performance to speed maintenance and troubleshooting. The fabric architecture also positions the district to scale for future expansion.
