Case Study: Municipality of Mol achieves a reliable, cost-saving managed network with Extreme Networks

A Extreme Networks Case Study

Public Center for Social Welfare’s Network Upgrade Reconnects Citizens

The Municipality of Mol’s Ten Hove care center faced outdated network equipment, growing citizen-facing technology needs, and a small IT team that required a scalable, secure and cost‑effective refresh. To meet these challenges they worked with vendor Extreme Networks and evaluated ExtremeSwitching™ as part of an “out of the box” managed approach.

Extreme Networks, together with partner Cipal Schaubroeck, implemented a ciPort Network as a Service (NaaS) to operate the care center’s ExtremeSwitching infrastructure. The managed NaaS delivers predictable monthly costs, avoided hardware replacement, reduced day‑to‑day IT management so staff can focus on strategic projects, and produced measurable time and cost savings for the Municipality of Mol.
