NextGen.Net Achieves Network Optimization with Extreme Networks Centralised Solution

NextGen.Net, Australia’s leading technology service provider to the lending industry, needed to modernise its network across two offices and two data centres to maintain low latency, stability and strict compliance reporting for ~100 internal users and over 100,000 end‑users. During an RFP process that included Cisco, Juniper and Arista, NextGen.Net selected Extreme Networks for a centralised solution that would deliver deeper analytics, visibility and control — deploying 2 x Extreme Networks S8 Data Centre switches and 9 x AP3825 access points.

Extreme Networks implemented the S8 switches and AP3825 access points with a centralised management interface, enabling NextGen.Net to see traffic from layer 2 up to the application level, produce compliance reports directly from the platform, and apply efficient policies to block, shape or prioritise traffic. As a result of Extreme Networks’ solution, NextGen.Net reported greater network performance, improved virtualisation and application responsiveness, enhanced reporting and capacity‑planning, and streamlined operations that freed resources for other priorities.
