MSK Group, a family-owned manufacturer in Ylihärmä, Finland with more than 800 employees and 60,000 m² of factory floors, needed a modernized, cloud-managed network to improve reliability and simplify management across organic growth and recent acquisitions. To replace legacy Cisco and HP gear and stop frequent access-point reboots, MSK Group engaged Extreme Networks and deployed ExtremeSwitching, ExtremeWireless, and ExtremeCloud IQ.

Extreme Networks delivered a phased hardware refresh and centralized cloud management via ExtremeCloud IQ, enabling smartphone-based onboarding, Wi‑Fi 6, and AI/ML-assisted troubleshooting. The deployment let MSK’s IT team self-install the wireless network with minimal outside help, eliminated regular AP reboots, and delivered consistent, reliable connectivity across the company’s sites—positioning MSK Group for a full transition to cloud-driven operations.
