Leading Global BPO Service Provider turns to Expand Worldwide Network

Allsec Technologies Ltd, a Chennai-based BPO serving roughly 2,000 employees, needed to expand its network to add a new building, call center and data center while meeting strict requirements for open standards, reliability, performance and cost-effectiveness. After evaluating options, Allsec selected Extreme Networks and its BlackDiamond core and Summit edge/data-center switches (running ExtremeXOS) to support converged voice, video and high-bandwidth applications.

Extreme Networks implemented BlackDiamond 8900 cores, Summit X460/X250 edge switches, ExtremeXOS, EAPS for sub-50 millisecond failover, and Ridgeline/SummitStack for simplified management. The deployment delivered voice-class resiliency, enforceable QoS for VoIP/video, improved security and compliance, reduced toll costs and higher staff productivity, and now reliably supports Allsec’s ~2,000 users while enabling future global services.
