Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad, a 100‑acre multicultural educational campus, needed a high‑performance, reliable and secure network to enable BYOD, seamless roaming and live‑streamed classes across its facilities and future academy network. Extreme Networks deployed BlackDiamond 8800 switches in the core and Summit X650/X460 switches in the data centers, powered by ExtremeXOS, delivering voice‑class availability, high‑density PoE and 10GbE. The new infrastructure enabled campus‑wide BYOD and uninterrupted roaming across 45 buildings, supports real‑time video lesson delivery, simplified management and future‑proofed the network so students and staff can access resources anywhere on campus.
