How Rentschler Biopharma Took Control of Its Distributed Network with Extreme Fabric

Rentschler Biopharma, a biopharmaceutical CDMO with sites in Germany and the U.S., needed to modernize an outdated network that was limiting scalability, complicating management across multiple international locations, and falling short on security in a highly regulated environment. Working with Extreme Networks and partner Scaltel, the company turned to Extreme Fabric, along with Extreme Control and Extreme Wireless, to support its distributed infrastructure.

Extreme Networks helped Rentschler Biopharma centralize network management, automate and standardize operations, and improve security through Extreme Fabric hypersegmentation across office and production networks. The result was a modernized IT environment that boosted productivity and security, supported easier management of multiple sites, and enabled the migration of 1,500 client connections with 75 new switches and 250 new access points.
