Hindu Temple Delivers Seamless A/V, Segmented Security with Extreme Fabric

BAPS Hindu Temple, the first Hindu temple and cultural complex of its kind in the Middle East, needed a high-performance, scalable and secure network to support elaborate multimedia displays across exhibition halls, the prayer hall, a tranquil garden and staff areas. Facing more than 30K weekly visitors across 27 acres and requirements for security cameras, IoT devices, robust A/V and temporary outdoor-event capacity, the temple engaged Extreme Networks to provide Extreme Fabric Connect and Universal 5000 Series switches.

Extreme Networks deployed a fabric-based solution using Extreme Fabric Connect and Universal 5000 Series switches (102 Extreme switches) to deliver hyper-segmented networking, multicast CCTV configuration and easy scalability for events. The implementation enabled seamless visitor management, security cameras, staff devices and immersive A/V experiences, simplified network scaling for outdoor services, and reduced cyber risk by preventing lateral movement—helping the temple support its large visitor volumes and multimedia-driven operations.
