A Extreme Networks Case Study
Nabuurs, a family-run logistics company with 26 branches and 1,100 employees, needed a robust Wi-Fi network to support its new 63,000 m² Park15 Logistics distribution centre and multiple offices—enabling order-picking scanners, separate guest and employee networks, simple management and easy scalability. After a fast proof-of-concept, Nabuurs selected Extreme Networks, using ExtremeWireless access points and ExtremeCloud IQ for cloud management.
Extreme Networks deployed a solution of ExtremeWireless AP245X (81 units) across the distribution centre—using directional antennas and predictive RF planning—and AP130s in offices, all managed through ExtremeCloud IQ. The rollout delivered seamless handoffs for mobile scanners, captive-portal guest access with secure employee networks, cloud-based remote monitoring and per‑AP licensing for on-demand scaling; the result was high user satisfaction, easier IT management and a flexible, easily monitored wireless estate across Nabuurs’ locations.
