Extreme Networks Offers Walibi Holland Room for the Future

Walibi Holland, a 140‑hectare theme and holiday park hosting up to 22,000 visitors daily, needed a high‑density, park‑wide Wi‑Fi solution that would provide seamless roaming, single sign‑on, segregation between guest and business networks, and integration with marketing tools. To meet these challenges the park selected Extreme Networks, using ExtremeWireless access points and ExtremeCloud IQ management delivered as Wi‑Fi as a Service.

Extreme Networks deployed 138 APs (indoor 130 and outdoor 1130), a fiber‑optic backbone and centralized management via ExtremeCloud IQ, integrating with Purple Wi‑Fi and exposing APIs for marketing and analytics. The result is a stable, centrally managed network that supports high user density and park‑wide roaming, simplifies installation and fault detection, allows controlled updates and service throttling (e.g., limiting video) to increase capacity, and provides the raw data and scalability Walibi Holland needs for future innovation and growth.
