Extreme Networks Delivers Reliable Wired and Wireless Network Infrastructure Under Unified Management Platform

Borgers CS, a global manufacturer of automotive upholstery fabrics with four plants in the Czech Republic and about 500 users, needed to replace an aging network during an ERP migration to provide reliable wired and wireless access and centralized management. After evaluating vendors, Borgers CS selected Extreme Networks and implemented A-, B- & C-Series switches, IdentiFi Wireless access points/controllers and the NetSight network management platform.

Extreme Networks deployed a unified wired and wireless solution managed through NetSight, giving Borgers CS a single-pane-of-glass for visibility, consistent policy-based profiles across wired and wireless, and the ability to monitor and control the entire network centrally. The Extreme Networks implementation delivered a reliable network across all four locations for 500 users, enabled faster problem resolution, produced cost savings through longer solution life and warranty, and increased IT department productivity and overall operational efficiency.
