A Extreme Networks Case Study

Dubai World Trade Center Powers Next-Gen Digital Applications

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), a 1.3 million square-foot campus that hosts over 500 events a year across 21 halls and 40+ meeting rooms, needed to increase network capacity and resiliency to support next‑generation digital applications. DWTC engaged Extreme Networks, deploying Extreme Fabric Connect and ExtremeAnalytics to address challenges such as reducing convergence times, streamlining configuration and provisioning, increasing resiliency, and simplifying network management.

Extreme Networks implemented Extreme Fabric Connect (with VSP switches for full-featured network virtualization) and ExtremeAnalytics to provide secure, scalable connectivity and real-time visibility. As a result, DWTC can now support high‑bandwidth contactless engagement and HD video, reliably host multiple CCTV streams to improve security and COVID‑safety enforcement, eliminate lateral access/backdoor entry points, simplify service deployment, and use granular analytics to optimize capacity and mitigate overcrowding — enabling continued operation across its 500+ annual events and 1.3M sq ft venue.
