OSF Healthcare, an integrated health system with 13 acute care facilities, 18 urgent care locations and more than 1.6M annual outpatient visits, needed to connect smart-hospital technology and thousands of medical devices across a widely distributed campus while improving visibility, security and lowering operational costs. Extreme Networks implemented a fabric-based, centrally managed network spanning 2 data centers, 1,321 Ethernet switches, 42 core switches and 575 data closets across 67 cities and towns.
