A Extreme Networks Case Study
Dino Polska S.A., a rapidly expanding chain of mid-sized supermarkets in Poland, faced an aging backbone and wireless infrastructure that could not keep pace with rising store counts, end‑devices, and warehouse automation. To support fast growth and improve scalability, bandwidth, automation and security across its central office and Krotoszyn warehouse, Dino Polska S.A. selected Extreme Networks and its solutions — including Extreme Fabric, ExtremeCloud IQ Site Engine and ExtremeControl — to replace legacy systems.
Extreme Networks performed a full rip‑and‑replace of the backbone and wireless infrastructure (more than 100 network switches replaced) and deployed Extreme Fabric, ExtremeCloud IQ Site Engine and ExtremeControl to simplify provisioning, automate change propagation, and enforce granular access control. The new Extreme Networks environment made it easier to add dozens of devices and extend connectivity to new sites, dramatically improved security with fully isolated virtual networks, reduced IT complexity and costs, and enabled Dino Polska S.A. to manage growth (supporting a 10% increase in stores and 15.1% sales growth in 2024) without a large staff expansion.
