Cordaan, one of the Netherlands’ largest healthcare providers serving more than 20,000 citizens across 120 locations with 6,000 employees and 2,500 volunteers, faced an outdated network that couldn’t support thousands of personal and medical devices, bandwidth‑heavy applications, or centralized management. Extreme Networks implemented a centrally orchestrated, cloud‑enabled infrastructure that delivers reliable, scalable Wi‑Fi for thousands of staff, patients and visitors, segments and protects critical medical devices, and provides end‑to‑end visibility via ExtremeCloud IQ. The new platform supports Cordaan’s 120 locations, automates updates and device onboarding to reduce IT maintenance overhead, and improves operating efficiency so IT can focus on patient‑care initiatives while maintaining secure, resilient connectivity.
