Gemeente Breda, the municipality of Breda in the Netherlands, needed to modernize its network to convert network data into actionable insights, reduce IT workloads, and build a future‑proof infrastructure that can handle constantly evolving citizen and municipal demands. Extreme Networks deployed a Fabric Connect‑based data center and ExtremeSwitching with ExtremeCloud IQ (implemented and managed in partnership with Conscia), delivering a resilient backbone and centralized visibility. The solution enabled cost‑effective deployment of temporary and permanent infrastructure, gave officials access to network data for better decision‑making, reduced operational burden on IT staff, improved adaptability to changing demands, and established a future‑proof platform for planned self‑service and automation.
