A Extreme Networks Case Study
Brandili Têxtil, a leading Brazilian children's clothing brand with over 50 years in business and about 1,500 employees producing roughly 14 million pieces a year, faced operational bottlenecks in its Apiúna distribution center due to a legacy, manually operated system and a slow, unconnected network that hampered product storage and fast order separation. To automate and improve visibility across processes, the company engaged Extreme Networks and sought a high‑speed wireless and integrated network management solution.
Extreme Networks implemented ExtremeWireless access points (50+ APs delivering up to 900 Mbit/s) and Extreme Management Center to support automated conveyors and interconnected stacker cranes integrated with Brandili’s ERP and sales systems. The Extreme Networks deployment delivered 90% Wi‑Fi coverage, doubled daily shipped parts to 80,000, reduced order delivery times, drove error rates close to zero, improved availability and performance, and even reduced the distribution center footprint.
