Case Study: AS Colour achieves faster, more efficient warehouse operations with Extreme Networks' cloud-managed Wi‑Fi

A Extreme Networks Case Study

Preview of the AS Colour Case Study

AS Colour Deploys Extreme's Cloud-Enabled Infrastructure to Drive Operational Efficiencies and Competitive Advantage

AS Colour, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of premium apparel operating in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and the USA, faced the challenge of upgrading high-density, automated warehouses to ensure ubiquitous, high-performance wireless, seamless handoff between access points, secure connectivity and central monitoring of device and network performance. To meet these needs they engaged Extreme Networks and its cloud-managed networking solutions, including ExtremeCloud IQ and AP510C access points, to modernize their infrastructure.

Extreme Networks deployed a cloud-based Wi‑Fi 6 network using AP510C access points managed via ExtremeCloud IQ, giving AS Colour consistent, high-capacity wireless, single-pane-of-glass visibility for NZ-based IT staff, and a repeatable blueprint for new distribution centres. The result was increased IT efficiency, reduced risk and improved operations—orders now appear in the WMS within 30 seconds and can be ready for dispatch and pick up within 10 minutes—demonstrating a measurable uplift in warehouse performance.
