Overcoming HIM Challenges Through Automation

Midwest Health, a large Midwest health system with 75 clinics and 15 hospitals, was struggling to turn incoming paper and electronic documents into actionable EMR data quickly and accurately. Manual transport, handling, indexing, duplicate documents, and inconsistent classification across hundreds of document types were slowing turnaround times and creating uncertainty around data accuracy.
