ID Shield Helps Washington County Comply with Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19

Washington County Arkansas needed to comply with Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19, which required confidential information to be omitted or redacted from court records available online. To meet this challenge, the county worked with Extract Systems and its ID Shield Advanced Redaction Software through its records management partner, Cott Systems.

Extract Systems deployed ID Shield on site and integrated it with the county’s court and land records systems, automating redaction of sensitive data such as Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, account numbers, dates of birth, and minors’ birth years. The solution helped Washington County redact more than two million pages of court records and over one million pages of land records, while also supporting redaction of pre-2009 records for historical compliance and public online access.
