Woodstream is a manufacturer and distributor of wildlife- and lawn-care products (brands like Victor, Havahart and Perky-Pet) selling to more than 1,000 customers and 100,000 retail outlets. When their legacy EDI provider dropped support, IT had to replace the platform and also address broader needs: integrate non‑EDI formats (spreadsheets, XML, flat files), synchronize data across disparate applications for better reporting, speed merger/acquisition data transfers, and automate web and POS order flows.

They implemented the EXTOL Business Integrator (EBI) to provide any‑to‑any mapping and A2A automation. EBI centralized EDI and non‑EDI processing, routed POS data into SQL for reporting, automated web orders into fulfillment systems, and reduced manual rekeying from days to minutes during acquisitions. The result was faster, more accurate order fulfillment, improved inventory and sales visibility, and greater IT agility to support growth and partner collaboration.
