World-class Indoor Ski Park Wows Visitors With Live Action From Its Real-snow Slopes Plus News and Sports Using Scalable Exterity Building IPTV Solution

The Snow Centre, a real-snow indoor ski park in Hemel Hempstead, needed a TV and video system that could match its high-tech, visitor-focused environment and engage guests throughout the venue. The customer wanted to avoid an obsolete coaxial TV setup while making it easy to scale the system as the facility grew.

Exterity implemented an end-to-end IPTV solution using head-end devices to inject live slope camera feeds and TV channels onto the network, with AvediaPlayer Receivers connecting LCD screens across the site. Exterity’s system now delivers live action, news, sports, and promotional content to the entrance foyer, cafés, and leisure areas, enhancing the visitor experience, supporting new revenue from advertising, and providing a scalable, lower-maintenance, energy-efficient platform.
