The Farm Group Showcases Its Work With Exterity IPTV Technology

The Farm Group, London’s leading independent television and film post-production group, needed a way to share its work consistently across six distributed offices while supporting live TV and pre-recorded content on break-out areas, desktops and edit suites. Its existing TV and video distribution setup could not scale with growth or deliver the high picture quality needed to impress clients and keep employees connected across the group. Exterity provided the IPTV platform used to address this challenge.

Exterity implemented an end-to-end enterprise IPTV solution that delivered TV and video over The Farm Group’s existing high-speed IP network, using head-end equipment, IPTV receivers and PC clients to distribute content without costly recabling or disruption. The result was a scalable, future-proof system that lets the company stream content to all sites, add new offices and users easily, and present vivid examples of its work to visitors and staff. By reusing the existing network, The Farm Group also improved return on investment and reduced operational complexity.
