The Archabil Hotel Helps Guests Get the Most Out of Their Stay in Turkmenistan With Customised in-room Guest Services and a Host of Entertainment Options

Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat, a five-star property serving both local and international guests, wanted to upgrade its refurbished rooms with an AV solution that could deliver local and global TV channels while also giving visitors easy access to tourist information and other guest services. Vendor Exterity provided the IP video platform, including AvediaStream Gateways, AvediaPlayer Media Players, ArtioPortal middleware, and AvediaServer management, to create a more personalized “home away from home” experience.

Exterity implemented a centrally managed IP video system that streams live TV and radio over the hotel network, integrates with the hotel’s PMS for personalized welcome screens and express check-out, and supports branded in-room interfaces plus VoD content. The result was access to 180 international TV channels in multiple languages, along with Turkmenistan information and commercials on demand, helping Archabil Hotel enhance guest satisfaction with a flexible, quick-to-deploy solution from Exterity.
