Istanbul’s Zorlu Performing Arts Center Delivers Large-scale Performances for International Artists With Exterity IP Video

Zorlu Performing Arts Center, one of Istanbul’s most prestigious cultural venues, needed a reliable proAV system to distribute live and pre-recorded video throughout its 50,000-square-meter facility, including backstage areas, artists’ rooms, offices, and streaming TV locations. It wanted a flexible, easily managed IP-based solution that could integrate with its existing AV environment and support both live performance content and TV distribution.

Exterity provided the core IP video platform for the venue, implemented by Atempo, enabling site-wide distribution to more than 130 devices including HD flat panels, videowalls, and PCs, as well as integration with the Center’s SDI-based studio equipment. The system now supports live and scheduled content, video-on-demand, CCTV distribution, and quick channel switching for stage managers, with outstanding reliability—over five years, the venue reported only two support calls, both resolved by simple configuration changes.
