A Exterity Case Study
Inglis Riverside Stables, a major thoroughbred racing and sales complex in Sydney, needed a low-latency, secure video and signage system to support live auctions across its sales arena, VIP areas, hotel, stables, and public spaces. The challenge was to deliver real-time audio and video over a GPON-based network for auction-critical timing, while also supporting premium TV content and hospitality services using Exterity IP video and digital signage solutions.
Exterity, working with The P.A. People, implemented an IPTV system built around secure HDCP Pro-enabled delivery, with AvediaPlayer Media Players, LG SmartTVs, and ArtioSign digital signage across more than 250 displays. The solution delivered TV, live auction feeds, VoD, and guest services across the site, helped update bidding stats in real time, and supported one of the first IP video deployments run exclusively over GPON. The new facility successfully opened for the Inglis Classic Yearling event, attracting strong demand and over A$6M paid for yearlings.
