Exterity Solutions Help Make Endemol New Office Future-proof

Endemol, the world’s largest independent TV production company, needed a future-proof communications system for its new Amsterdam offices. The company wanted to receive Dutch and international TV channels, take live feeds from its broadcast centre in Hilversum, record live streams for later use, and deliver digital signage across a network that changes size with production demands. Endemol turned to Exterity and its IPTV solution to meet these requirements.

Exterity implemented an end-to-end IPTV system using AvediaStream TVgateways, AvediaStream Encoders, around 250 AvediaPlayer Receivers, and the AvediaServer management platform. The solution enabled Endemol to deliver broadcast-quality TV and video over its existing IP network, centrally manage content and access, and scale easily by adding or removing devices as needed. It also reduced cabling and installation costs, while allowing staff to access content through channel lists, client software, or remote controls.
