Exterity IP Video Solution Creates Immersive In-Stadium Experience for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim Football Fans
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, the German Bundesliga football club, wanted to create a more immersive matchday experience for fans in its VIP lounges and boxes at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena. To meet growing expectations for Wi‑Fi and video streaming, the club turned to Exterity and its IP video and digital signage solutions.
Exterity implemented an IP video system using AvediaStream gateways and encoders, AvediaPlayer receivers, an AvediaStream r9350 receiver, and AvediaServer management. The solution delivers live TV, Fan-TV, welcome messages, and event content to VIP areas and also supports SDI broadcast workflows, giving the club centralized control over content distribution and a seamless viewing experience for guests.
