Exterity IP Video Brings Best in Class Entertainment Services to Erbil International Hotel Guests
Erbil International Hotel, a five-star business and leisure destination in downtown Erbil, Iraq, wanted a digital in-room solution that could deliver international TV channels alongside interactive guest services. The hotel needed a system that was easy to manage, highly reliable, and capable of supporting the premium experience expected by guests across its 167 rooms and suites. Exterity was selected to provide the IP video and entertainment platform, working through Iridium Solutions.
Exterity implemented an IP video system using AvediaStream TVgateways and ArtioPortal middleware integrated with Agilysys PMS and Samsung hospitality SmartTVs. The solution delivers Arabic, regional, and international TV channels in guest rooms, the lobby, and the spa, while also enabling services such as personalized welcome messages, weather, local information, room service ordering, and express checkout. As a result, Erbil International Hotel strengthened its position as a premier business hotel in the region and improved the guest experience with a more luxurious, convenient stay.
