Exterity Helps Liverpool FC Create a Visually Compelling in-stadium Digital Video and Signage Environment

Liverpool FC worked with Exterity to upgrade the digital video and signage experience at Anfield during its 2016 redevelopment. As the club expanded the stadium and added more hospitality, press, and corporate areas, it needed a centrally managed, flexible system to deliver live TV, LFC TV content, advertising, and match-day information across nearly 600 screens with full synchronization.

Exterity implemented an IP video solution using AvediaStream TVgateways and encoders, AvediaServer for central management, and AvediaPlayer receivers on Samsung displays, integrated with Signagelive for digital signage. Exterity’s system now delivers HD TV, video, and signage to just under 600 screens, improves visual quality and reliability, and lets administrators quickly update content and control screens from desktop and mobile devices across the stadium.
