IF Metall, a Swedish trade union with more than 311,000 members, wanted its website to better serve both members and elected workplace representatives. In 2018, the site had low KPIs and was performing below the benchmark for associations and organizations, so the team turned to Extellio’s user experience analytics and continuous website experience monitoring.

Using Extellio’s insights, recommendations, follow-up surveys, focus groups, and client panel feedback, IF Metall redesigned and released its website in 2019. The improvements drove strong results: all key visitor groups saw Find-scores rise by at least 35%, and the website’s Net Promotion Score increased by 38%.
