Vueling automates 120 daily work packages with EXSYN

Vueling, a low-cost airline, faced a significant operational challenge with the daily manual printing of approximately 120 work packages for aircraft maintenance. This repetitive and time-consuming process required several hours of labor from multiple employees each day, which strained resources and caused non-mandatory forecast items to be skipped. To address this, Vueling partnered with vendor EXSYN to implement a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution.

EXSYN's RPA solution automated the routine printing task by deploying a software robot that mimics human actions on the same system frontend. This implementation freed up valuable employee time, eliminated human error, and allowed the airline to fully cover its mandatory workload without needing to change its underlying IT infrastructure. The project successfully automated the process for 115 aircraft tails across 2 aircraft types, processing 6GB of data.
