The Royal Netherlands Air Force faced a challenge in maintaining fleet availability as they operated multiple aircraft types with maintenance tracked across several disparate systems. This made it difficult to gain an overall view of fleet status, turnaround times, and process bottlenecks. They engaged EXSYN to develop a custom analytics solution to address this.

EXSYN collaborated with the customer's specialists to establish a detailed solution design for a custom-built analytics dashboard. This included defining metrics, formulas, and mapping underlying data sources. The vendor delivered this design to initiate the development of the mission-critical dashboard, which was set to process 3 GB of data from 5 source systems covering 12 aircraft types and 146 tails.
