Oman Air migrates 55 tails and 65 GB of data to AMOS with EXSYN

Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, faced the challenge of migrating its aircraft maintenance data from its legacy PMI system on an AS400 database to the new AMOS MRO software platform. To ensure a successful transition with high data quality, they contracted vendor EXSYN to conduct the data migration as a managed service.

EXSYN implemented its NEXUS data processing tool to perform the migration, which included a fit-gap analysis, data cleansing, and mass-data updates. The project successfully migrated data for 55 aircraft tails across 3 different aircraft types from 2 source systems, processing 65 GB of data. As a result, Oman Air's entire fleet data was transferred into the AMOS system, equipping them with a state-of-the-art solution for maintenance operations and decision-making.
