Lufthansa Technik Maintenance International merges 123 GB of data with EXSYN

Lufthansa Technik Maintenance International (ltmi) faced a challenge with misaligned business processes and differently defined master data across its various entities, each using different stable releases of their AMOS systems. They needed to merge these systems into a common platform while retaining critical component labels and barcodes from individual warehouses without risking the accuracy and integrity of their overall aircraft maintenance data. The vendor EXSYN provided a solution using their NEXUS ETL engine and expertise.

EXSYN's solution involved migrating data from each entity's AMOS system for alignment, transformation, and cleansing. The project successfully processed 123 GB of data, consolidating information from 2 source systems for 25 aircraft tails across 3 different aircraft types. This merger by EXSYN created a unified common platform for ltmi's maintenance operations.
