Flybe migrates 65 GB to AMOS with EXSYN

Flybe, Europe's largest regional airline, faced the challenge of implementing new MRO software and required an experienced partner for the complex project. They needed expertise in data migration, solution design, and interface design due to their intricate infrastructure. Flybe engaged vendor EXSYN to conduct a discovery and design phase to prepare for the implementation.

EXSYN delivered its data processing solution, NEXUS, on a SaaS basis to support the data migration from Flybe's legacy Oracle systems to the new AMOS software. The vendor also designed and delivered all necessary interfaces between AMOS and other Flybe systems. EXSYN provided a team of dedicated IT and aviation professionals to take on roles within the implementation project. The project involved migrating data for 82 aircraft tails of 2 different types, processing 65 GB of data. Flybe's Director of Engineering stated they were delighted with EXSYN's services in the initial phase and looked forward to a successful implementation.
