EL AL migrates 115 GB of aircraft data with EXSYN

The customer, El Al, Israel's flag carrier airline, needed to migrate over 20 years of historical aircraft data from its legacy SCEPTRE system to a new MRO software platform, AMOS. They sought expertise for this complex data migration and contracted the vendor, EXSYN, to perform the managed service using its NEXUS data processing tool.

EXSYN successfully transferred all data from the IBM IMS database to AMOS. They also conducted a fit-gap analysis, data cleansing, and a mass-data update to ensure high data quality. The project involved migrating data for 51 tails across 5 aircraft types, processing 115 GB of data. Following the go-live, EXSYN provided ongoing AMOS end-user support to El Al for their production environment.
